Take your Yin Yoga teaching to the next level and attract more students to your classes. Open to all Yin Yoga teachers, this Level 2 course gives you evidence-based tools and techniques, including the latest in neuroscience and myofascial release, to create unique classes.
The course consists of two modules, which can be taken separately or together. By completing both, you’ll get a Yoga Alliance certificate.
This course is open to anyone who has completed a Yin Yoga Level 1 training.
The theory is in English – but breakout rooms will be available in both English and Swedish.
Curious about neuroscience but unsure where to start and how to use it in your Yin Yoga classes?
This course is designed to make neuroscience approachable and relevant to both your teaching and practice. We’ll break down key concepts into simple, practical insights, focusing on what truly matters. You’ll learn how to teach and apply neuroscience in a way that’s both accessible and inspiring!
Why neuroscience?
Much of our focus in yoga is on stretching and strengthening muscles and fascia (lower-order systems) – but it’s our brain and nervous system (higher-order systems) that control movement and overall function. By working directly with the brain and nervous system, we can create powerful shifts—often more quickly than expected.
This work is exciting to explore, and it can also reignite your passion as a teacher, offering your students fresh, transformative experiences.
Interested in exploring Myofascial Release?
Another way we can get big shifts in our movement patterns is through Myofascial Release. This course offers a hands-on approach to understanding and applying myofascial release in your practice and teaching. Using simple tools like tennis balls, you’ll discover effective techniques to reduce tension, relieve pain, and deepen your connection to the body. Learn how to weave these methods seamlessly into your Yin Yoga classes, creating a richer experience for both you and your students.
We’ll also explore how these techniques relate to the Anatomy Trains lines, to get a better understanding of fascia, movement and the body.
Minimal Props
In Module 2 we’ll also explore how to make Yin Yoga accessible and comfortable for everyone, even with minimal props. This session will focus on using a yoga strap in simple and effective ways, perfect for when you’re teaching at a venue with limited props or for online teaching.
£150 per module or buy both for £250

We (Melanie and Jennie) have been working together since 2008, with a combined teaching experience of over 45 years. One thing we’ve consistently found is the importance of being authentic—discovering “your voice” as a teacher and having the courage to fully embrace who you are in your teaching.
Being a yoga teacher is incredibly wonderful, but it can also be energy-intensive and even draining if you’re not staying true to yourself or prioritising your own well-being. It’s all too easy to overlook self-care, so during this training, we’ll focus not only on refining your teaching but also on creating space for your own practice.
